What If Just A Few Minutes Each Day Could Transform Your Life?

The Happii Human Method

Learning How To Learn Is The Ultimate Meta-Skill, A Literal Superpower.

We are constantly bombarded by information. To make a good start towards self-actualization, we are wise to increase the percentage of that information that is actually useful.

But it is only a start.

Learning is NOT simple awareness of information.

Try to think of the last dozen potentially life-altering ideas you encountered. Chances are you can think of perhaps a few, but most have been forgotten. This is human nature.

Of the ones you do recall, how many are actually making a difference in your reality and are not just more thoughts in a head that is already filled with thoughts?

To truly change, we need better strategies. We need a better method, a S-M-A-R-T-E-R Method.

Below is a 7 step, incredibly simple process that acts like rocket fuel for learning. It is science-backed and evidence-based. This needs repeating...

Learning How To Learn Is The Ultimate Meta-Skill, A Literal Superpower.

Now, obviously, you cannot do this with every piece of information you encounter, but I highly encourage you to utilize this process for several pieces of information regularly.

Each individual step offers benefits independent from the others, but when used together, magic does actually happen.

If we treat our lives as seriously as business owners treat their business, and are more deliberate in our efforts, most of us would be absolutely amazed at who we could become.

The S-M-A-R-T-E-R Method...

Step 1: Seek

Invest the 3-5 minutes per day to either read or listen to the episode of Microdosing Joy (or whatever else it is you are currently focused on implementing).

...

Remember, great ideas will rarely hunt you down. Even in the rare instances that they do, those ideas will change us only a little if we do nothing with them.

...

We need to Actively Pursue great ideas. But remember, this is only Step 1.

Step 2: Meditate

This is so much simpler than it sounds.

...

Simply sit still for a few minutes, close your eyes, and think about what you just read or heard.

...

Thoughts will naturally connect to other thoughts and start the process of this moving into long-term memory.

...

Disregard any current story you have about meditating. This word means many different things. For this purpose, this is simply Active Reflecting With No Distraction.

Step 3: Apply

Now go live your life. While your doing so, we need the lessons of the day to move into your neurology.

..

What does this mean? You need to act it out. So throughout the day, apply the lesson where possible. Activate the mindset in your body, not just your head.

...

I'd recommend either placing timers on your phone throughout the day as reminders or writing a Reminder Trigger on anything you will see throughout the day. An index card in your pocket can do wonders.

...

Thus far, you have taken an outside idea and brought in inside of you. Now we need to bring it into your Active Life.

Step 4: Record

Towards the end of the day, take a few minutes and write down in your own words what you learned & how this changed your perspective.

...

This is taking the idea and now making it your own truth. Ideas only change us when they become our own. And they become our own when we have firsthand experience with them and personally believe in their merit.

...

This short process is more powerful than can be expressed until it is experienced repeatedly. The greatest minds in history have almost all been avid journalers. There are reasons.

Step 5: Teach

Now teach it either to someone else or back to yourself.

...

Don't skip this. You need to use your own voice to relay these thoughts back out into the world. This activates different pieces of your mind.

...

The best scenario would be to teach it to someone else because it forces you to use language aimed at someone with no prior knowledge. This is one way that having a close friend on the same path as you is priceless.

...

However, since many will resist this piece, you can hack the system by teaching it to yourself, but treat yourself as if you have no prior experience with the idea. And say it out loud.

Step 6: Experience

Time to re-engage with life using the idea(s).

...

Keep using your Reminder Trigger system for the days to come. Apply the idea(s) when appropriate.

...

Make notes as to what your personal feedback has been. Review your experiences at the end of each day, ideally right before bed as it primes your memory.

Step 7: Repeat

Repeat steps 1-6, ideally about 3 times in total for Week 1. Then 1-2 times per week for Weeks 2-4.

...

I will be releasing Weekly and Monthly Recaps for Microdosing Joy to assist with this.

...

You can use this method for a handful of ideas at the same time, but make sure not to overburden. One to two great ideas fully integrated is far more effective than dozens that have changed very little.
